Job summary

Regency Hospital in Sylvania, OH is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for PRN/Per Diem night shifts on 12-hour rotations. Compensation is $22.00 per hour, with additional shift differentials for nights and weekends, and eligibility to pick up shifts at Oregon location as needed.

You will support patients with bathing, feeding, hygiene, rounds, and mobility, transport patients, maintain cleanliness, and assist with equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Hospital NA experience or NA certification or related field (medical assistant).
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs.
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)

Nursing Assistant certification or hospital NA experience
