Select Specialty Hospital - Springfield is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for Springfield, Missouri. This PRN/Per Diem role features 12-hour day shifts, $19.00 per hour, and a $1,750 sign-on bonus. Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• Certification as Nursing Assistant (CNA) or experience in related field is required.
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing and basic grooming.
• Conduct hourly rounds and respond to call bells.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist with transfers.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms and equipment.
• Restock supplies and perform other duties as assigned.

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
