Select Specialty Hospital Nashville West is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to join our team in Nashville, TN. The role supports patient grooming, daily hygiene, and basic care during shifts that include nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant or CNA certification preferred.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

• Support oral hygiene, oral feeding, and hair care for patients.

Position: Nursing Assistant (NA)

Location: Nashville, TN

Schedule: PRN/Per Diem, 12-hour shifts

Compensation: $24.00 per hour + Competitive Shift Differentials for nights and weekends

Sign-On Bonus: $1,500

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients' rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
