Job summary

Regency Hospital - Minneapolis in Golden Valley, MN is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to join our critical illness recovery team. This PRN/Per Diem position features 12-hour shifts and $25 per hour compensation.

We provide extensive orientation to ease your transition. Opportunities for advancement exist and part-time/per diem staff are eligible for 401k after 1,000 hours within their first anniversary or subsequent calendar year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant).
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients' rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned
