Job summary

Regency Hospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for the full-time day shift in Oregon, OH. The NA will support post-ICU patients with daily living activities, hygiene, nutrition assistance, and mobility. The role requires compassion, reliability, and teamwork to ensure high-quality inpatient care.

Compensation ranges from $18.05 to $22 per hour, commensurate with experience. Shifts require flexibility to cover both Sylvania and Oregon locations when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing and oral care.
• Perform hourly rounds to monitor patient needs and safety.
• Transport patients to and from treatment centers and assist with moving patients in stretchers/wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms and sanitize equipment and instruments.
• Stock supplies and ensure unit has necessary materials for daily operations.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
