Regency Hospital is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant (NA) for the Oregon, OH night shift. This full-time position runs from 6:00 pm to 6:30 am, supporting patients in a critical illness recovery setting.

The role involves bathing patients, hourly rounds, patient transport, and keeping rooms and equipment clean and well-stocked. Compensation ranges from $18.05 to $22 per hour, with BLS required within 90 days of hire and opportunities for career growth and education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient bathing and personal care.
• Perform hourly rounds and monitor patient needs.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist with transfers.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms and equipment.
• Restock unit supplies and equipment.

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
