Job summary

TriHealth Rehabilitation Hospital in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for full-time positions on 12-hour shifts: Day 7:00am–7:00pm or Night 7:00pm–7:00am. Compensation ranges from $19.64 to $26.44 per hour, based on experience, with a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

In this inpatient rehabilitation setting, you will obtain vital signs, assist with daily patient care, deliver meals, document intake, and support mobility and safety for patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries,

Qualifications

• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment.
• Hospital experience or CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtaining vital signs, height, weight and demographic data.
• Assisting patients with personal and daily care, such as bathing (bed bath, chair at sink, tub and shower), oral hygiene, shaving and hair care.
• Delivering meals and snacks, feeding patients who are unable to feed themselves and documenting oral intake, including supplements.
• Turning and positioning immobile patients safely while maintaining proper body alignment; participating in mobility program.
• Answering patient call lights and performing services that add to the physical well-being of the patient.
• Transportation of the patients to designated areas, such as to and from various treatment centers.

Minimum Qualifications

• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hospital experience, certification as a nursing assistant preferred (maybe required based on some state requirements)
