Responsibilities

• Bathing patients using basin-less bath products; assist with oral hygiene.
• Assist in oral feeding and hair care.
• Assist transporters and move patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Maintain cleanliness of bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs, and other instruments.
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.

• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
