Select Specialty Hospital - Midtown Atlanta is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for full-time day shifts in Midtown Atlanta, GA. Compensation starts at $19.70 per hour with a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Bath patients using basin-less bath products and assist with oral hygiene and personal care.
• Perform hourly rounds and monitor patient conditions.
• Transport patients to and from treatment centers and assist with moving patients on stretchers or wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms, bedpans, urinals, and equipment.
• Keep unit stocked with supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
