Job summary

Qualifications

• CNA certification required with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months by enrolling in a training program.

• Maintains annual continuing education requirements (12 hours).
• CNA training and certification provided by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with transferring, positioning, and range of motion.
• Document resident interactions and care outcomes for the care plan.
• Communicate changes in condition to the charge nurse.
• Assist with meals, dining, and hydration.
• Support housekeeping and laundry to keep living areas clean.
• Encourage participation in wellness and recreational programs.
