Job summary

Boundary Waters Care Center in Ely, MN is seeking a Nursing Assistant in Training who will gain hands-on experience while getting paid toward a CNA certificate.

You will work with a caring team to assist residents with daily living, monitor health data, and help keep a safe, clean environment. No prior experience is required; comprehensive training is provided. Competitive pay and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Able to assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Comfortably lift/move residents and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, ambulation).
• Respond promptly to call lights and care needs to ensure safety and comfort.
• Support independence and dignity according to individual care plans.
• Record and monitor vital signs or health data as directed by nursing staff.
• Observe changes in resident condition and report to licensed staff.
• Assist with rehabilitative activities and maintain infection control practices.
• Collaborate with nursing and dietary teams to ensure high-quality care.
