Job summary

Boundary Waters Care Center is seeking motivated individuals to join as Nursing Assistant in Training, offering paid training toward CNA certification. You will learn from an experienced care team and provide compassionate, hands-on resident care while developing essential clinical skills.

In this role you’ll support daily activities, help maintain safety and comfort, and work closely with registered nurses and therapists.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; we will train you to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Able to lift, reposition, and assist residents with daily living activities.
• Willingness to learn and follow care plans and household policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, ambulation).
• Maintain resident safety, comfort, and well-being by promptly responding to needs and call lights.
• Document vital signs, intake/output, and other health data as directed by licensed staff.
• Collaborate with nurses, dietary staff, and therapy teams to support holistic care.
