Job summary

Avera St Benedict Nursing Home is seeking a Nurse Assistant in training to become a Certified Nurse Assistant. The Nurse Assistant will provide direct, personal care to residents in a skilled nursing facility, meeting daily physical, social, and spiritual needs to maintain and improve independence.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with ADLs, taking vital signs, documenting care, and supporting the care team. Training to become CNA and Medication Aide may be provided.

Qualifications

• CNA licensure/certification required within 120 days of employment.
• Ability to provide direct, personal care to residents in a skilled nursing facility.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, personal care to residents (ADLs).
• Assist with daily living activities and grooming.
• Take and record vital signs and document findings accurately.
• Assist with transfers, feeding, hygiene, and mobility as directed.
