Job summary

Avera St. Marys is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to provide direct, personal care to residents in a skilled nursing setting. This PRN role involves rotating days and shifts, with opportunities to learn and grow while supporting residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) must be licensed in the state of practice and able to complete within 120 days.
• High School diploma or GED considered; related experience or training helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to residents with activities of daily living.
• Performs routine and non-routine duties as directed by nursing staff, including bathing, dressing, shaving, feeding, and environmental care.
• Measures vital signs and documents information accurately.
• Assists with transfers, ambulation, and patient positioning to ensure safety.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and families.
