Job summary

Avera St Benedict Nursing Home is seeking a Nurse Assistant in training to become a Certified Nurse Aide. You will provide direct, personal care and services to residents to meet their daily physical, social and spiritual needs and help maintain independence.

In training to become CNA and/or Medication Aide, you will perform routine duties, assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals, and support the nursing team in a compassionate multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• CNA in training or completion in process.
• Strong communication and compassion in daily resident care.
• Ability to learn and follow care plans and policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, personal care to residents in the skilled nursing facility.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding).
• Take and document vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, weight) and report changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and assist with transfers, mobility, and transports as needed.
