Avera St Benedict Nursing Home in Parkston, SD is seeking a Nurse Assistant in training to become a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA). This PRN role offers varied hours and requires certification within 120 days.

You will provide direct personal care, assist residents with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, and document accurately for the care team. The role emphasizes teamwork, compassion, and patient-centered support.

Qualifications

• Must be in training to become Nurse Assistant and/or Certified Nurse Assistant.
• Experience assisting residents with daily living activities and basic care.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.

Responsabilités

• In training to become Nurse Assistant certified and/or Medication Aide certified.
• Provides assistance to residents with their activities of daily living.
• Performs routine and non-routine duties as directed by nursing staff, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and transfers.
• Measures and documents vital signs and other health data.
• Assists with care activities to support residents' plans of care and comfort.
• Restocks supplies and maintains a clean, safe environment on the unit.
• Provides emotional, educational and spiritual support to families.
• Adheres to safety, privacy, and infection control procedures.
