Job summary

Avera St Benedict Nursing Home is seeking a Nurse Assistant in training to become a Certified Nurse Assistant. You will provide direct, personal care to residents in a skilled nursing facility, meeting daily physical, social and spiritual needs to maintain independence.

The role offers varied shifts (Afternoon Shift) with 16 hours every two weeks and every third weekend and holiday. Requires CNA licensing within 120 days; High School or GED is preferred; duties include assisting with activities

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively with others.
• Visual acuity adequate to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, personal care to residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Perform routine and non-routine duties as directed by nursing staff.
