Job summary

UNC Health Nash is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant II to support professional caregivers in patient care, transport, room setup, and unit clerical tasks at Nash UNC Health Care.

You will work in a compassionate team devoted to high-quality, patient-centered care. The role requires completion of High School or GED, NC Nursing Assistant II and I certifications, BLS/CPR, and at least one year of clerical or nursing assistant experience. Onsite day schedule with 24 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in verbal and written English.
• Ability to develop basic computer skills.
• Proven clerical or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care under supervision of licensed staff.
• Transport patients and equipment as needed.
• Set up and maintain patient rooms and clerical tasks on the unit.
