Job summary

Baptist Health Princeton Hospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant II for the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit. The role supports patients with direct care, monitors vital signs, and helps ensure a safe, comfortable environment under RN/LPN supervision.

You will collaborate with nurses, physicians, and the healthcare team to aid patient recovery and deliver compassionate care to patients and families. Night shift and every third weekend required.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required
One year of healthcare experience in the past five years
Graduate of an approved Nursing Assistant, Patient Care Assistant program, CNA (Florida), LPN, or nursing school
Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification

Responsibilities

Assist patients with hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and elimination
Monitor and record vital signs
Support patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
Maintain a clean and safe patient care environment
Communicate patient concerns to nurses and healthcare staff
Participate in patient rounding and shift handoff reports
Respond to patient call lights and requests
Transport equipment, supplies, blood products, and medications (excluding controlled substances)
