Bassett Healthcare Network in New York seeks a Nursing Assistant I to support direct and indirect patient care under RN/LPN supervision. You will assist with ADLs, meal delivery, vital signs, documentation in EMR, and patient safety. This role requires teamwork, reliability and strong communication.

Education: HS diploma or GED preferred; BLS within 6 months of hire. Physical work includes lifting, transfers, and exposure to clinical environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire date, required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with direct/indirect patient care under RN/LPN supervision.
• Performs ADL care, including oral care, bathing, toileting and mobility.
• Documents vital signs, intake/output, and other data in EMR.
• Provides patient safety, infection prevention, and environment safety tasks.
