Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital in Homewood, AL is seeking a Nursing Assistant I to support patient care on the 3x12s day shift (6:45 AM–7:15 PM). The schedule includes every third weekend and focuses on patient comfort and safety.

Under the direction of licensed staff, you will assist with hygiene, mobility, nutrition and vital signs, maintain a clean environment, and help with admissions, transfers and discharges while upholding patient privacy.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
• Experience: None.

Responsabilidades

• Assist patients with hygiene, mobility, hydration, elimination and nutritional needs.
• Provide routine treatments and maintain a safe, clean, neat, and organized patient environment.
• Maintain safety and security of patients, families, self, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Assure patient privacy, rights, and confidentiality.
• Follow standard precautions; always wash hands between patients.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Take and record vitals and document pertinent information as directed.
• Communicate safety concerns to RN or other team members.
• Participate in hourly rounding and handoff reports.
• Deliver exceptional service and care to patients, families, and staff.
