Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant I for night shifts (3x12s) in Birmingham, Alabama. Work hours are 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM with weekends every 3rd weekend. The role involves providing basic patient care under the supervision of the RN/LPN and supporting a broad range of clinical services across the hospital.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• Must obtain BLS/Healthcare Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
• Experience: None.

Responsabilités

• Assists patients with hygiene, mobility, hydration, elimination and nutritional needs.
• Provides routine treatments and maintains a safe, clean, neat, and organized patient environment.
• Maintains safety and security of patients, families, self, and team members.
• Ensures patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Follows standard precautions and hand hygiene between patients.
• Assists with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Takes and records vital signs and inputs patient data as directed.
• Documents pertinent patient information according to policies.
