Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and other health care providers with routine examinations and procedures, and procurement of equipment during emergencies.
• Support in psychiatric settings including reality orientation and behavior modification plans.
• Observe, document patient information, and report significant changes to nurse or physician.
• Assist patients and families during admission, orientation, and discharge.
• Provide care/treatments per plan of care, including vital signs, specimen collection, wound care, and ROM exercises.
• Provide direct personal care for activities of daily living.
