Qualifications

• Fluent in verbal and written English language required.
• Basic computer skills expected for documentation and charting.
• Six months nursing assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and other health care providers with routine examinations and procedures.
• Provide direct personal care to patients for activities of daily living.
• Observe, document and report changes in patient condition to RN or physician.
• Assist in patient discharge and orientation to the hospital/clinic environment.
• Distribute patient education materials and reinforce teaching given by RNs or physicians.
