Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant I at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. The position offers an evening shift (7:00am - 3:30pm) with every other weekend and holiday rotation and a $1,200 sign-on bonus for new hires who qualify.

Responsibilities include basic care, hygiene, mobility support, and assisting licensed staff. The role requires a Nursing Assistant Training Program completion, MA CNA certification, CPR certification, and a willingness to participate in ongoing

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Training Program preferred.
• Massachusetts Nursing Assistant Certification or equivalent required.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• Three months experience in an acute care or long-term setting preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or approved exemption by signing a statement.

We are searching for a talented Nursing Assistant I

*$1,200 new hire sign-on bonus for this position. (rehires termed more than 1 year also eligible)*

Hours: 32hrs

Shift: Evening shift with every other weekend and holiday rotation; 7:00am - 3:30pm

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Under general supervision of individually assigned Manager, Patient Care Services or designee, perform a variety of duties including basic care, personal hygiene, mobility, nutritional support, maintain patient environment, and provide assistance to licensed staff in carrying out other related duties, etc.

• Equal to completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized courses or training.
• Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Training Program is preferred.
• Nursing Assistant Certification in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or the equivalent is required.
• Current CPR Certification is required.
• Three (3) months experience in an acute care or long term setting is preferred.

• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
