Baptist Health in Lexington, KY is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Float Pool. This full-time role covers day and night shifts, supporting patient care across departments under the supervision of an RN.

Responsibilities include hygiene, mobility, transfers, and routine tasks, plus basic clinical duties like glucose monitoring, EKGs, and venipuncture. You will document care, report changes to nursing staff, and provide compassionate, respectful service.

Qualifications

• Direct patient care duties including hygiene, toileting, feeding, positioning and mobility assistance.
• Assist with transfers, admissions, discharges and ambulation.
• Perform delegated clinical tasks such as blood glucose monitoring, EKGs and venipuncture.
• Support nurses and physicians with patient care and procedures.
• Document patient care and report changes to nursing staff.
• Provide compassionate, respectful and responsive patient care.
