BHS Baptist Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Float Pool in Elizabethtown, KY. This full-time night shift (7p–7a) position provides direct comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge and requires documentation and evidence-based bedside practice.

Candidates must hold an ADN, Kentucky RN licensure, ACLS/BLS within specified timelines, NIHSS and PALS within 6 months, and one year of telemetry experience. BSN preferred. Benefits include tuition assistance and PTO.

Qualifications

• ADN degree from an accredited institution.
• Current unrestricted RN license in Kentucky.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• NIHSS within 6 months of hire.
• PALS within 6 months of hire.
• One year Telemetry nursing experience required.
• Must obtain Crisis Prevention within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge.
• Reviews and documents care provided, outcomes, and evaluations.
• Applies evidence-based practices to bedside caregiving.
