Baptist Health in Elizabethtown, KY is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Float Pool. The role is full-time with a 7p–7a shift, responsible for delivering direct, comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge.

Ideal candidates hold an ADN, Kentucky RN license, and relevant certifications; telemety experience is preferred. The hospital offers tuition assistance, PTO, family leave, bereavement leave, EAP, and retirement plans with company match.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.
• NIHSS required within 6 months of hire.
• PALS required within 6 months of hire.
• One year of Telemetry nursing experience required.
• Must obtain Crisis Prevention within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge.
• Review and document care provided, patient outcomes, and evaluations of care.
• Apply evidence-based practices and professional standards to bedside caregiving through critical thinking.
