Job summary

UnityPoint Health-Meriter is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant (CNA) to perform basic nursing support under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will practice asepsis, protect patient privacy, and deliver care aligned with training and hospital standards.

Requirements include Wisconsin CNA certification and CPR certification or eligibility. Availability for orientation in the first week (8:00 AM–4:30 PM) is required. Join a team recognized as a Top Place to Work in Healthcare.

Job Description:

TheNursing Assistant (CNA) practices and performs the basic nursing assistant procedures which were taught during their outside training and certification program. The CNA is expected to practice medical asepsis, respect the dignity and privacy of every patient, maintain objectivity during patient care, adhere to basic hospital safety policies and procedures, and practice within their scope of training. The CNA works under the close supervision of the Registered Nurse. The CNA receives specific work assignments that are both written and oral with the expectation to complete the work assignment within their scheduled shift.
