Job summary

Nursing Assistant - Float – Full-time - Evenings at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital invites certified nursing assistants to join a patient-centered team. You will assist with meals, transport, vitals, and comfort measures while working closely with RNs and techs to ensure high-quality care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, CNA certification or active enrollment, and current BLS.

• CNA certification or enrollment in an approved program.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to document care.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record temperatures, pulses, respiration and blood pressure.
• Provide meals and safe transport for patients.

• Float to units as needed and support teams to maintain patient care.
