Essentia Health in Brainerd and Baxter, Minnesota seeks a Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care under supervision, with rotating day and evening shifts. Duties include assisting with daily living activities, vital signs, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Required are one of several approved nursing assistant qualifications and a willingness to obtain or maintain BLS certification. This position offers a 0.7 FTE with every-other weekend coverage at St Josephs Medical Center.

Competenze

• Must have current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 1 month of hire.
• Completion of Essentia Health Nursing Assistant Foundation course within 90 days of hire if qualified through East Market program.

Mansioni

• Provide direct patient care under supervision to ensure safety and comfort.
• Take vital signs and maintain accurate documentation.
• Assist with activities of daily living and nutritional support.
• Transfer patients safely and report condition changes to RN.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment to promote healing.

6 months of patient care experience

Completion of one semester of clinical rotations within an accredited nursing program

Successful completion of an EH provided Nursing Assistant training within one month of hire
