Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant to support the RN with patient care and daily activities. The role includes 24 hours per week with weekend and holiday requirements, and a focus on safe, compassionate patient handling in a hospital setting.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED/HSED, with no experience required. BLS must be obtained within 45 days; proficiency with basic computer documentation is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to use basic computer systems for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, hygiene, feeding, ambulation).
• Record vital signs and patient data in EMR accurately.
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharges under supervision.
• Collect specimens and assist with basic clinical tasks.
• Transport and position patients and manage basic patient belongings.
• Maintain skin integrity and assist with mobility and positioning.
