Good Samaritan is hiring a Nursing Assistant (CNA) at the GSS SD Desmet Ctr in De Smet, SD. The role involves resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision. Expect a flexible schedule, nights/weekends, and differential pay for evenings and weekends.

Eligibility includes CNA certification with SD Board, or enrollment in a certification program. Eligible employees receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package after eligibility.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required (within four months if not yet certified).
• Minimum age 16; prior long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance per care plan.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, mobility, and vital signs.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
• Support with meals, hydration, and wellness activities; assist with housekeeping and laundry as needed.
