Good Samaritan is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting at GSS SD Desmet Center in De Smet, SD. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, documentation, and support for RN-supervised care.

Shift varies with nights and weekends; a FLEX premium plus weekend and evening/night differentials are offered. Salary range listed is $19.00–$25.50 per hour, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Minimum age 16.
• CNA certification required.
• Annual 12 hours continuing education required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and feeding.
• Document resident interactions and vital signs.
• Support transfer, mobility, and range-of-motion activities.
