UW Health in Madison is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join a dynamic patient care team. The role focuses on assisting in a fast-paced environment, supporting a wide range of patient needs and conditions, and participating in additional education to expand emergency medicine knowledge.

The position offers flexible schedules (60% FTE and 90% FTE) with day and evening shifts and a sign-on bonus of $1800 or $2700, pro-rated by FTE. Join a care team dedicated to remarkable patient experiences.

Formación

• Wisconsin Nurse Aide Training Program required.
• BLS/CPR certification within 3 months required.

Responsabilidades

• Work in a fast-paced patient care environment and assist in caring for a wide variety of patient conditions and acuities.
• Learn and perform skills including EKGs.
• Assist in waiting room and triage, and collaborate with community partners and law enforcement.
• Support the community from door to door.
• Pursue additional education opportunities to advance emergency medicine knowledge.
• Varied daily assignments with opportunities in multiple department areas.

Work Schedule

60%FTE and 90% FTE, opportunities available. Day/Evening: Primary shift 0700-1930. Evening: Primary Shift 1100-2300. You may be eligible for a $1800 or $2700 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE).

Qualifications

• Graduate of State of Wisconsin approved Nurse Aid Training Program Required

Work Experience

• 1 year of recent experience as a Nursing Assistant Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Listed on the State of Wisconsin Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aid Registry Upon Hire Required
• BLS/CPR certification within 3 months Required
