Job summary

University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority is seeking a Telehealth Nursing Assistant (CNA/NA) for the eICU program. The role involves remote care of critically ill patients, admitting, transferring and discharging in the ECM system, and ensuring accurate record transfers.

Position is 90% FTE with day/night rotation (6:30pm-7am and 6:30am-7pm), including weekend/holiday shifts. External hires may receive a sign-on bonus up to $2700, plus shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Telehealth Nursing Assistant (CNA, NA) role requires remote care of critical care patients.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred per job posting.
• License requirements include Wisconsin Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aide Registry and CMA/TMA upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Admit, transfer, and discharge patients from inpatient units and Surgical Services in eCareManager to ECM (eCareManager).
• Verify patient records and transfers into ECM.
• Provide remote care support in the eICU setting for critical care patients.

Nursing Assistant, eICU, 90% FTE Day/Night (Finance)

Work Schedule:

90% FTE, 36 hours per week, Day/Night rotation 6:30pm - 7am and 6:30am-7pm (6 shifts in a two week period), 2 in 6 weekend and holiday rotation. Hours may vary based on the operational need of the department.

Pay:

External hires may be eligible for up to a $2700 sign on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE).

Additional components of pay include:

Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin! Based in an off-site center, UW Health eICU is an electronic Intensive Care Unit that is staffed by a team of experts. Critical care doctors and nurses observe and communicate with patients and the bedside care teams at multiple locations through use of advanced technology.

We are seeking a Telehealth Nursing Assistant (CNA, NA) to:

• Become part of a dedicated group of professionals who excel in the remote care of critical care patients both internally and regionally.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge patients from inpatient units and Surgical Services in eCareManager to and from the correct locations into ECM (eCareManager).
• Verify that patient records and information transfers into ECM.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Preferred

Work Experience

• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care facility Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Listed on the State of Wisconsin Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aid Registry Upon Hire Required and
• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) or Trained Medication Aide (TMA) Upon Hire Required
