Job summary

University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority in Madison seeks a Telehealth Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the eICU program. This 90% FTE Day/Evening role supports remote care of critically ill patients from multiple locations.

Responsibilities include admitting, transferring, and discharging patients in eCareManager and ensuring accurate data transfers into ECM. Candidates should have a high school diploma and Wisconsin nurse aide registry; CMA/TMA preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience as a nursing assistant in clinical or long-term care preferred.
• Must be listed on the Wisconsin Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aide Registry Upon Hire and CMA/TMA Upon Hire required.

Responsibilities

• Admit, transfer, and discharge patients in eCareManager between inpatient units and Surgical Services.
• Verify that patient records and information transfers into ECM.
• Provide remote care support for critical care patients in the eICU setting.

Nursing Assistant - eICU, 90% FTE Day/Evening (Finance)

Work Schedule:
90% FTE, 36 hours per week, Day/Evening shift 6:30am-7pm (6 shifts in a two week period), 2 in 6 weekend and holiday rotation. Hours may vary based on the operational need of the department. Pay:

External hires may be eligible for up to a $2700 sign on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE).

Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin! Based in an off-site center, UW Health eICU is an electronic Intensive Care Unit that is staffed by a team of experts. Critical care doctors and nurses observe and communicate with patients and the bedside care teams at multiple locations through use of advanced technology.

We are seeking a Telehealth Nursing Assistant (CNA, NA) to:
Become part of a dedicated group of professionals who excel in the remote care of critical care patients both internally and regionally.
Admit, transfer, and discharge patients from inpatient units and Surgical Services in eCareManager to and from the correct locations into ECM (eCareManager).
Verify that patient records and information transfers into ECM.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Preferred

Work Experience

• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care facility Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Listed on the State of Wisconsin Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aid Registry Upon Hire Required and
• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) or Trained Medication Aide (TMA) Upon Hire Required
