Job summary

University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority is seeking a Telehealth Nursing Assistant (CNA/NA) to support remote care in the eICU. The role involves admitting, transferring, and discharging patients, verifying records in ECM, and collaborating with care teams from an off-site center in Madison.

The position includes day/night rotation, 30 hours per week (75% FTE), and eligibility for a sign-on bonus. Weekend and evening/night differentials apply as noted in the posting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience as a nursing assistant or CNA in clinical settings preferred.
• Experience with telehealth or remote patient monitoring is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in remote care of critical care patients in the eICU.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge patients between inpatient units and Surgical Services in ECM.
• Verify patient records and data transfers into ECM.

Nursing Assistant, eICU - Day/Night (Finance)

Work Schedule

75% FTE, 30 hours per week, Day/Night rotation 6:30pm - 7am and 6:30am-7pm (5 shifts in a two week preiod), 2 in 6 weekend and holiday rotation. Hours may vary based on the operational need of the department.

Pay

External hires may be eligible for up to a $2250 sign on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE).

Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin! Based in an off-site center, UW Health eICU is an electronic Intensive Care Unit that is staffed by a team of experts. Critical care doctors and nurses observe and communicate with patients and the bedside care teams at multiple locations through use of advanced technology.

We are seeking a Telehealth Nursing Assistant (CNA, NA) to:

• Become part of a dedicated group of professionals who excel in the remote care of critical care patients both internally and regionally.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge patients from inpatient units and Surgical Services in eCareManager to and from the correct locations into ECM (eCareManager).
• Verify that patient records and information transfers into ECM.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Preferred

Work Experience

• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care facility Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Listed on the State of Wisconsin Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aid Registry Upon Hire Required and
• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) or Trained Medication Aide (TMA) Upon Hire Required
