Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Current Food Handler Permit
• No disciplinary actions against certification
• Experience in long-term care settings preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living per care plans and policies
• Assist with lifting, turning, positioning, and transporting residents
• Coordinate dining room services, meal tray delivery, feeding assistance and document intake
• Record weights and monitor skin condition, report changes to nurse
• Document progress in flow sheets and communicate any factors affecting care
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to facility policies and safety procedures
