Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Erie is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for a full-time day shift in Erie, PA. You will provide compassionate patient care and support the care team.

Compensation ranges from $18.05 to $22.00 per hour based on experience, with benefits including health plans, PTO, RN scholarship opportunities, tuition reimbursement, a clinical ladder, and a 401(k) plan. Join a nationwide team focused on high-quality post-ICU care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire is required.
• Preferred: hospital experience as a nursing assistant or CNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform bathing, oral hygiene, oral feeding and hair care for patients.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to and from treatment centers; assist with transfers.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs.
• Keep patients' rooms clean and stocked; maintain unit stock levels as directed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
