Job summary

HealthPartners is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support the Capitol View Transitional Care Center at Regions Hospital in Saint Paul. This 0.8 FTE role provides essential patient care for short-term stays in a 18+ environment, with a 6:00 am to 2:30 pm schedule and weekends on a rotating basis.

Starting pay is $20.59 per hour, based on prior nursing assistant experience. Candidates must be on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry and complete orientation in Bloomington.

Qualifications

• Must be on Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry and maintain current certification.
• Completion of Nursing Assistant Course.
• Reliable transportation to HealthPartners orientation in Bloomington Tue/Wed 8am-4:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication with nurse in charge about patient status changes.
• Provide direct patient care including showers, nourishment, feeding, and charting.
• Answer calls promptly and stock supplies as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
