Bellin Health in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the Cardiac Unit. This role supports patient care on a 23-bed unit with continuous monitoring, post-operative care, and medication management.

You will perform diagnostic testing, act as a RN preceptor for new CNAs, and help organize patient rooms, including stocking supplies. Phlebotomy and EKGs are performed, with information systems proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Listed on the Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Registry is required.

Responsibilities

Work Schedule: PM/NOC shifts, with an every other weekend rotation & a holiday rotation

Unit Description:Our 23 Bed Cardiac Unit is a specialized unit that focuses on the care and treatment of patients with various cardiac conditions. On the unit our care team provides continuous monitoring and medication management as well as providing post-operative care for those who have undergone cardiac procedures or surgeries. Our staff is trained to address the unique needs of everyone with cardiac-related issues, while providing a supportive environment for recovery and any on-going treatment.

Job Description:

As a CNA at Emplify Health by Bellin, you will perform diagnostic testing, act as a preceptor under the guidance of an RN for new nursing assistants, and assist with the organization of patient rooms, including emptying garbage and stocking linens and other supplies. You will perform refrigerator checks, phlebotomy, and EKGs, ensuring age-appropriate care and service. Your commitment to reliable, predictable outcomes and minimizing needless waits is essential. Proficiency in using Information Systems to their full capability is required. Duties may vary by department.
