Emplify Health by Bellin in Green Bay, WI is hiring a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for our 25-bed Observation Unit. You will assist with short-term evaluation, treatment and assessment under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, focusing on patients with chest pain, TIA, respiratory illnesses and COPD exacerbation.

Job Specifics

Location:744 S Webster Ave, Green Bay, WI 54301

Work Schedule: Day/NOC shifts, with an every other weekend rotation and holiday rotation

Unit Description :Our 25 bed Observation Unit is designed to provide short-term evaluation, treatment and assessment for patients who do not require full admission to the hospital. Examples of patients seen include but are not limited to: those experiencing chest pain, TIA, Respiratory illnesses and COPD exacerbation. The Unit is a middle ground between outpatient and inpatient care which allows staff to monitor and assess patients before determining the need for further care or discharge.

Job Description:

Responsible for patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Qualifications:

Listed on state of Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Registry required.
