Job summary

Bellin Health in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join our Observation Unit. You will provide patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, supporting short-term evaluation and disposition decisions for patients with chest pain, TIA, COPD, and related conditions.

The role is full-time, with day shifts and an every other weekend/holiday rotation, within a 25-bed unit focused on safe, efficient patient care.

Qualifications

• Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Registry required for eligibility.

Location:744 S Webster Ave, Green Bay, WI 54301

FTE Status:Full Time Opportunities Available (0.80-1.00 FTE; 32-40 hours/week)

Work Schedule: Day shifts, with an every other weekend rotation and a holiday rotation per department policy

Unit Description :Our 25 bed Observation Unit is designed to provide short-term evaluation, treatment and assessment for patients who do not require full admission to the hospital. Examples of patients seen include but are not limited to: those experiencing chest pain, TIA, Respiratory illnesses and COPD exacerbation. The Unit is a middle ground between outpatient and inpatient care which allows staff to monitor and assess patients before determining the need for further care or discharge.

Listed on state of Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Registry required.
