Bellin Health’s Emplify Health by Bellin Cardiac Short Stay Unit in Green Bay is seeking a Student Nurse Technician in a transition role toward RN licensure after graduation. The position is 0.2 FTE (8 hours/week) with a plan to move to full-time RN post-licensure.

Under RN supervision, you will deliver quality patient care, monitor patients, assist physicians, and support families, while ensuring a safe environment. Schedule is Mon-Fri, mornings, with no weekends or holidays initially.

Qualifications

• Transcripts or verification from college indicating school status or copy of diploma required.
• Also must meet one of the following requirements: RN student entering senior year of a 4-year BSN program; RN student entering final semester of a 3-year BSN program; RN student entering final 7 months of 15-month BSN program; RN student entering final semester of Associate Degree RN Program.

Responsibilities

• Under the direct supervision of an RN: provide quality care and monitoring of patients.
• Maintain safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors; maintain equipment and supplies.
• Assist physicians and inform physicians of relevant information; support families.

Job Specifics:

• Location: 744 S. Webster Ave., Green Bay, WI 54301
• FTE Status: Casual Part-Time, 0.2 FTE (8 hours per week).
• This position will transition from a Student Nurse Technician to afull-timeRegistered Nurse (RN) with the Cardiac Short Stay Unit post-graduation & licensure.
• Work Schedule: Monday-Friday starting between 5:00 am and 12:00 pm. No weekends, no call, & no holidays! We will work around your schedule!
• Unit Description: Emplify Health by Bellin's Cardiac Short Stay Unit is a specialized care area focused on providing efficient and high-quality treatment for patients with cardiac conditions requiring short-term hospitalization. The unit is designed to support rapid recovery and optimal patient outcomes through coordinated care, advanced cardiac services, and a patient-centered approach. It offers a collaborative environment where healthcare professionals work together to deliver exceptional cardiac care.

Under the direct supervision of an RN: Responsible for providing quality care and monitoring of patients. Maintains safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors; maintains properly functioning equipment and availability of equipment, supplies and drugs. Assists physicians; informs physicians of relevant information; provides support to families. Participates in an assistance capacity to RN but cannot perform the functions of assessment and evaluation in their entirety. The position of Student Nurse Technician will only be available up tosix monthsfrom the date of graduation.
