Good Samaritan in Mandan, ND is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to serve residents in a long-term care setting. You will provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse, following the care plan and infection control policies.

Expect a PRN schedule with varying shifts and typical responsibilities including assistance with daily activities and vital signs.

Formación

• 3 months experience in Long Term Care required.
• 6 months preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide resident-centered nursing care during scheduled periods under RN supervision.
• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, transfers).
• Follow care plans and infection prevention policies and use PPE.

Department Details

• Premium Pay Rates:
• $7/hour premium on all hours worked.
• $1.25/hour weekend shift differential
• $1.25/hour evening/night shift differential (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
• Travel required to support multiple locations within 75-mile radius of permanent address

Experience Requirements

• 3 months experience in Long Term Care required (6 months preferred)

Scheduling Requirements

• Minimum of 30 hours per month
• One weekend shift per month

Job Summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as caregiver to the resident during the scheduled work period in long term care. Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned resident under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Knowledge of and delivers age-appropriate care related to the physical and psychological needs of the resident as per care plan. Considered a member of the nursing team and is expected to know, and will be held accountable for, following infection prevention and control policies and Personal Protective Equipment use.
