Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Medication Assistant to support residents at Mandan Sunset in Mandan, ND. The role provides nursing care and daily living assistance under a charge nurse, with varying shifts and PRN scheduling.

You will assist with daily activities, monitor vital signs, and provide psycho-social support per care plans, including transfers and mobility assistance as needed. Premium pay applies for hours, weekends, and evenings.

Qualifications

• 3 months experience in Long Term Care required (6 months preferred)

Premium Pay Rates

• $7/hour premium on all hours worked
• $1.25/hour weekend shift differential

Experience Requirements

Scheduling Requirements

• Minimum of 30 hours per month

Job Summary

The Medication Assistant (MA) serves as caregiver who provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a charge nurse. Knowledge of and delivers age-appropriate care related to the physical and psychological needs of the resident as per plan of care.
