The Medication Assistant (MA) at Good Samaritan Mandan provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under supervision. Duties include helping with daily living activities, taking vital signs, and offering psycho-social support to residents in a Christian not-for-profit setting.

Position is PRN with varying weekly hours, based in Mandan, ND, with travel to support multiple locations within a 75-mile radius.

Qualificações

• 3 months experience in Long Term Care required (6 months preferred).
• Minimum of 30 hours per month scheduled.
• One weekend shift per month.

Job Summary

The Medication Assistant (MA) serves as caregiver who provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a charge nurse. Knowledge of and delivers age-appropriate care related to the physical and psychological needs of the resident as per plan of care. Provides assistance with basic health care needs including daily living activities that may include, but are not limited to, bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psycho-social support and other personal care to assigned resident.
