Responsibilities
- Routine checks on residents to meet their personal care needs according to their wishes.
- Review and update care plans daily, noting any changes in residents' conditions.
- Notify the Nurse Supervisor of any resident condition changes for appropriate documentation.
- Assist residents with daily activities, including social programs and transportation to appointments.
- Maintain a warm, patient, enthusiastic, calm, and cheerful environment.
- Prepare residents' rooms and ensure comfort.
- Participate in facility surveys conducted by authorized agencies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a 10th-grade education.
- Completion of Nursing Assistant class and in the process of obtaining certification.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
- Effective communication with nursing staff and management.
- Active CPR/BLS certification.
This position is subject to a collective bargaining agreement with SEIU 503.
