Qualifications

Position Details
  • Setting: Skilled Nursing
  • Wage Scale: Starting at $20/hr + DOE
  • Status: Full-time and Part-Time
  • PRN Shifts: All shifts available
  • Shift: Days (6a - 2p), Evenings (2p - 10p), NOCs (10p - 6a)

Responsibilities
  • Routine checks on residents to meet their personal care needs according to their wishes.
  • Review and update care plans daily, noting any changes in residents' conditions.
  • Notify the Nurse Supervisor of any resident condition changes for appropriate documentation.
  • Assist residents with daily activities, including social programs and transportation to appointments.
  • Maintain a warm, patient, enthusiastic, calm, and cheerful environment.
  • Prepare residents' rooms and ensure comfort.
  • Participate in facility surveys conducted by authorized agencies.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a 10th-grade education.
  • Completion of Nursing Assistant class and in the process of obtaining certification.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
  • Effective communication with nursing staff and management.
  • Active CPR/BLS certification.

This position is subject to a collective bargaining agreement with SEIU 503.
