UPMC Carlisle is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Acute Cardiac & Neuro Unit. This full-time (36 hours per week year round), day shift is eligible for every other weekend and every other holiday. The NA provides patient care under the RN, assists with ADLs, transports, and documents medical records.

You will support safety, respond to call lights, and communicate with patients and families. Certification: CPR/BLS within 30 days; High School Diploma required; CNA preferred; training completed

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Successful completion of UPMC Nursing Assistant training.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred.
• CPR/BLS within 30 days of hire per AHA standards.

Responsabilidades

• Provide ADLs (bathing, feeding, transferring, toileting, ambulating, positioning) under RN supervision.
• Support safety, respond to call lights, pass meals, and transport patients.
• Document medical records per procedures and report equipment issues.
• Maintain professional relationships and effective communication with patients and families.
• Assist with telemetry, weights, vitals, I&O, and specimen collection as directed.
